Finally after endless wind and rain, the sun is out for our drive through the green hungarian countryside to see the sights of Sumeg. We fearlessly climbed to the top and paid a fortune to go into the ramparts, not quite Carcassone but the views are stunning. Looking around at the hungarian plains with the volcanic peaks popping up and the neat little houses and gardens below. We found a pretty restaurant with pond, flowers, dove cot and lots of happy diners and enjoyed wonderful wine and food to end lovely visit.
