Autumn Garden

I had to share some photos of our garden as it was looking so nice in the misty autumn afternoon. We have so many light coloured chrysanthemums, they really catch your eye every time we open our front door. We also have some amazing berries on a climber which is growing up onto our deck. The berries are really unusual and quite striking; they range in colour from pale grey to turquoise then to deep indigo as they ripen. I really don't know what they are so maybe there are some clever botanists who may be able to tell me?

Andy's Amazing Bird Feeder Houses

Taking inspiration from a Hungarian craft magazine, we now have these amazingly stylish bird feeders with which to impress our feathered friends! As I type, I can hear more sounds of busy sawing and drilling from the kitchen as Andy is already producing another feeder, this time a wooden bird table with roof - it looks fantastic already and I can't wait to see it out in the garden with all our birds tucking in to their treats! Thank you Andy your skill, talents and thoughtfulness towards our local wildlife are very much appreciated!
